I don't like the law at all. I think you should have to have permission to go on any ones property. More than likely the land owner would go with you to track, or he would let you go by your self, and if he would not let you, all you have to do is call the game warden and he would take you in...
Anyway, it’s academic argument because I can’t see the legislature ever allowing more rifle hunting, so you win. (I recently developed a good contact in Wisconsin, so I’ll take my .30-06 up there and hunt with it and I win, too.)

Won't matter in a few years any way. All your big bucks will be gone. Heard a guy at the gas station telling his buddy he shot six bucks himself during the gun season.
In 2001 bought 45 ac. on Oct. 18. Hung three tree stands on Oct.25 and saw a big deer on Nov.3 on the ridge.
Moved one of my stands to the ridge and shot that deer at 25 yards on Nov.14. He scored 205". So it can happen. Good luck and get in there and hunt it.
