What Triggers the Whitetail Rut?
Sep 15, 2015 - 5:58 PM - by blake
Article in QDMA:

What Triggers the Whitetail Rut?

Whitetails are rutting somewhere in their range from August through February. Amazingly, they breed over this seven-month period just in the state of Florida! Deer Can See You Even When Theyíre Eating
Aug 28, 2015 - 7:30 AM - by blake
Article from QDMA

All safe? Next, bend your head down and press your nose to your biscuit, or backstrap, or whateverís on your plate. Now, while touching your nose to your food, look around again for danger. See any? No, you donít. All you can see is a big, blurry biscuit and maybe a little of Uncle Floydís Hawaiian shirt in your periphery. And now heís got you cornered.

Deer do not have this problem. When their noses are in clover, or acorns, or browsing anything else at ground level, they can still see danger approaching almost as well
