Had a good weekend down in southern Iowa. The doe population is crazy at a few properties so I took out 3 of them- and I saw curly! He is back and is a stud Also had a few other really nice bucks show up on camera pretty regularly. Evenings were easily better and will take the next few days off until it cools down. Dropped a couple of the deer off at zebs- can't wait for those sticks and deer bacon!

Been out a lot Over the last few weeks- just haven't posted. Went out tonight and wasn't expecting to see him but I saw my #1 - and he came from an area I wasn't expecting. Busted.....he didn't blow but trotted away not liking something. He is a stud. Prob staying away from that area until after Halloween

Haven't posted in a few- but I hunted all weekend- been putting in a lot of hours - and had a great opportunity Saturday night and had the buck (180 class) duck my arrow. I knew to aim low with how high I am and the buck was at 35 yards-and I didn't. Almost puked- Also saw 3 other decent bucks and one was on camera during daylight Sunday as well. Will be going back out on Friday-Sunday.

got the job done on Sunday AM- so i wont repost that- here are a few of the pics from the last few hunts I have had- oh- and I picked up all my and my buddies deer sticks- deer bacon and sausage from Zebs- Xmas came early Goodluck to all those still out and everyone have a safe gun season-

I have had MANY bobcats on camera as well- a few per week now.

also got some sweet TBI custom coolers made - they lasted all of a day and were gone pretty cool looking I thought- the Green logo on is actually my cooler-

Good friend and I came out here to Wyoming with TH (the Biebs) and saw a TON of elk yesterday and I stayed out til dark last night glassing a group of bulls off public but close- saw they came down at last light close to where we could hunt. This AM we went over there and TH spotted the group last second right before we moved on. My buddy and I hiked about 1.5 miles to get where they were- they had moved down the creek quite a ways. So we snuck up with the 50MPH winds in our favor- each picked out a bull and on 3 both shot. Both dropped- double bull elk down! Pics will come Monday when in the office. Was a great trip. Huge thanks to Josh - kids a huge help and a hunting animal.
