I'll be there - just got my item sold on ebay tonight, so by the weekend, I'll have the money for my NEW bow !

Good deal camoman. I was just in there last night, they also have some very nice used bows that are 20% off. Hope to see you there.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think it is like a buying group that handles, mckenzie targets, easton arrows, lone wolf tree stands, etc...
Give it a fling accross the shop onto the floor for me too!

Supertec, you are right. I was at CIA tonight, and I asked them, because the rep's name looked familiar. We hunted with him when CamoKid got his first deer with a muzzleloader. Anyway, he does rep for several different products. It was easier for them to list Outtec than to list all his lines. See you there !

I think Outtec is a group of buyers that sell several brands of misc equipment. I know Shawn is part of it. TruGlo, Easton and various other manufacturers are/were some of the names he was involved with.

Stopped by CIA last night - They now have the full line of Scent Lock Clothing in stock. Pretty nice stuff this year. Get in there before the sizes run out.

I am interested in coming up tomorrow for the open house, but I am not familiar with Des Moines. Can I get directions from Oskaloosa? I will be coming up Hwy 163.

Release - the easiest way would be to take 163 all the way to Altoona. Head into town. Once you hit main street heading east/west, take it west. You will go past menards/walmart. This road will turn into Broadway if you keep heading west. Take Broadway west for about 3-4 miles. It's right before you get to ne14th street on the south side of the road, in Broadway Business Park. It's pretty easy to find. Goo Luck. Hope to see you there.

I may have to go to a map on the Internet. 163 turns into University once you get past Hwy 65. I don;t understand the directions. Sorry.

OK, It does turn into University. Go ahead and take University til you hit 14th st in DSM. When you get there take a right on 14th. Take it North for about 4 or so miles. You will come to Broadway right before you go under the interstate. Take a right on Broadway heading East. Then it is about 1/8 of a mile on the right side of the road. Very easy to find that way.
Good Luck

Thanks, I think I know where that is at. Hope to see you tomorrow.

I just wanted to say thanks to the guys at CIA! I just got home from the Open House and you guys have a nice store. The guys at CIA are very knowledgable and willing to help answer any questions that you may have. I had a couple of questions and even let them know that I was in the middle of preparing to open an archery shop in Oskaloosa. Everyone was willing to answer questions. CIA has a range in the back of the store to help you out in setting up and sighting in your new bow! CIA also ahs a great selection of equipment, from bows to blinds.

It was also great to see IowaWhitetail.com founder Chris Lane and spend some time talking to him. He is a great guy to talk to and I look forward to seeing him at some up and coming 3-D shoots.

I also had a chance to talk with John, who is a Martin Archery representative. I shoot a Martin Phantom II in both 3-D and in my hunts and love my bow. I just had to let him know how pleased I was with the bow, since switching from a York and Hoyt to Martin last year. I also begged for a Martin hat, but was unsuccessful, but only because he didn't have any with him. LOL.
