I too, would purchase a new bow. I don't think it is a problem but I just don't like even a possibility of messing with the integrity of the bow as it was manufactured. Just my way of thinking.

I was out in the fields today and saw a buck flat out chasing a doe. Made me want to be out there now. They are definitely moving athough its just starting. I think either would be a good choice.

I'm gonna agree with sep0667. I think definitely 3.5 year old but only in the 150-155 range. Either way, he'd be awful hard to pass up.
