Great pic. 163 gross and 161 net. An early 3.5 yr old. One more year to add mass and he'll make it. Tough to pass on a 160 though. Thanks Bill D

    Big Buck at the Scrape

Looks like a good one.Should gross around 170 or so. Tough to get a great look but looks like the left side g-3 splits. My guess is it won't net well but who cares, great buck. Good luck with him. Bill D

    For those who say pass....question?

Its a personal choice I guess. I have a hard time justifying taking a buck (unless its for a purpose ie. deer number control, cull buck (poor genetics)). I have taken at least 20 bucks in my years of hunting and just believe in my situations I'm better off shooting does and letting the...

    For those who say pass....question?

The percentages are low that you will harvest the deer in the years to come, Obviously where you hunt and the pressure the deer recieve will increase/decrease your odds. I'm 2/11 (18%)but we own two very productive farms that have a good base of genetics. The too ended up being 162"(4.5 yrs)...

    Shoot or free pass?

Tough call. Possible pass sitting behind my desk. In the real world might be tough. Looks like 150 class. Good mass, tine length and beam length.

Finally one for the shooter list

I would say gross 145" net 138". I know those numbers are a little shy of what you were thinking. Thats my guess. Good luck with him, he's a big deer. I sure hope you get him and he ends up 150 plus. Thanks Bill D

    New to this site

I shot him in November of 2006 during the second day of our buck season. I had bucks fighting under me most of the afternoon and almost took a 130" buck that was under my stand for over an hour but (thanks to my camera's I knew he was in my area). After all the deer (10-13) had moved on the 14...

    Finally Hard Pictures

I would say let him go. Everyone always says "if you think the neighbor will shot him you better take em". The only way they have a chance is if you pass on them. Too bad you can't get everyone to shoot does if they need the meat. Any way just my opinion, great looking 3.5 yr old. Good Luck...

Yes its a D4.0. I'll keep trying with it for the price. Is a Cuddyback the best camera you can buy? If not what is. Thanks Bill D
