Your talking about 28% NO you can't put it on corn when it is up, it will burn / kill it. But it sure does a good job on burn down when added to round up and that would b a good way to get your nitrogen on

Yes it can crust hard enough to stop corn from pushing up. Cold Temps with lots of rain is not a good combination. Dig some up, corn will turn downward when it can't push through the surface. It sometimrs will try 1 more time to turn and get out of the dirt. But once it turns down not a good...

I have been using them for a long time. Compared to a t post nothing to get hooked up on roots when pulling.

Look and see if the roots r severed. Would b caused by freezing ground pushing up and that is what pulls the roots apart.

As someone who has been through a hog barn fire. Start carrying a pocket note pad and writing things down that comes to mind that r damaged or lost. You will be surprised how much comes to mind even weeks latter.

? First. When using it are you inserting EACH spade a little at a time? If that doesn't work yes you can put a little edge on the shovels. If that doesn't work your going need to wait for softer ground conditions.

I asked the same when I started planting mine years ago. Was told NOT to. These new roots r very tender. Good rule no fertilizer for the first year to b safe

With new planted trees b very careful with the fertilizer you can burn the new tender roots.
