You want to re-seed alfalfa? You can't. You have to till it under and plant something else for about 3 years before it can go back into alfalfa. Many articles on this subject. Too lazy to provide you with the exact information you need.
Story and pics on my blog.

Thanks for allowing me to brag about the little man. Hope everyones spring is shaping up well. Good luck!
My dad and grandpa always did skull plate mounts so that's what I always did with mine too. I have been hunting for 19 years and I have 13 bucks and only one of them 148" buck is shoulder mounted. As I pass on deer and get to know them over the years and build a history and story with them I may...
Good for you Paul! Nobody likes a liar, a thief or a trespasser.
We don't have any of these issues in my area that I am aware of, but I know that road/illeal hunting exists I have just not witnessed it. I am no dummy. I proudly display QDM signs as well as no trespassing signs. I have been...
Looks pretty close to a 2 1/2 year old we had from 09. This year he walked right by during the rut at 10 yards and I gave him a pass again. I have since then had 3 more encounters with him and all killable situations. He's my #1 favorite buck because he sports huge mass all throughout his rack...
You can either take it back and swap it out at the retailer or pay to have it shipped to Moultrie and they will send you a new D50, since the D40 is no longer in existence. I opted for the latter and got the D50. You must have the receipt and it must still be under warranty. I lucked out and...
This is my second year growing brassicas and boy did I learn a lot from last year. Last year the biggest turnips I saw were around the size of baseballs. They were nice, but they had too much rain and I planted them too thick. The deer still fed in them all winter. This year I had optimal...
I didn't think those pics you posted before was him, but this looks like the same buck for sure. Put an arrow in this guy! You're gonna have to find where he's bedding because I'd bet he doesn't travel far at all! He has the super hidey hole I'd imagine.
Continuing to draw them in
How are my Brassica plots? We had one week back in mid January where there was no snow. Before that time they had been digging all over the plots. After the snow melted there was hardly anything left...or so I thought. They continue to dig and dig and dig through the...
You bet I will be Paul! I plan to frost seed clover into them in Feb and then till under half of it to do a yearly rotation to keep them from disease etc. I am also going to try some strip plotting nearby as well.
They ignored them except for the ocassional bite here and there until around...
