How does the one buck tag work in Kansas? Do residents just pick one season ? Or does everyone get to hunt bow plus one other season? Or just a governors tag where you hunt any season you want until you’re tagged out ?

We Well I’ve probably found a couple hundred since 2021. Last spring was one for every 40 acres I shed hunted. One saving grace for the deer that are still left is the number of people that just gave up hunting here. Those that still do don’t hunt as much as they used to.

My favorite one Ive built I used a tractor tire with one sidewall cut out and poured concrete in the bottom to seal it. I made sure I had it in the lowest area possible so the natural runoff would help keep it full.
