Found a pic, it didn’t take much concrete I just made sure the concrete went higher than the bead and overlapped a little. Also put wire mesh in the concrete.

I used a tractor tire once, if you use a sharp box blade you can cut the sidewall out of one side. Lay the tire in the hole and fill the bottom with concrete. Narrow rear tire probably 18” x 5-6’ diameter I think that came down to a 240-250 gallon tank and the deer seemed to love it.

Dig the hole deeper than you think you need it lol every time I do one I end up being too shallow and the runoff water won’t run in.

They’re probably not in season, it wouldn’t surprise me if they were curious enough to poke their head out if you called. I had a friend of a friend that claimed he used a 250 gallon ICB full of water to flood a den once. Said it came out within 30 seconds. I’m 99.9% positive that’s not legal.

If you can find where their holes are they’re the easiest animal on the planet to catch. No bedding required , don’t worry about scent.
