yes this deer was shot last week. my sister knows the guys friends. stud of a deer for sure.

Been hunting around Eldora (Hardin) and Stuart (Guthrie) for the last 4 days, 1/2 day each. Been the slowest hunting I can remember. I got caught up at work today hoping I can get out next week, IF I don't fill my tag this weekend.

If any of these ponds are within an hour of Ankeny or decorah, my dad and I will come and catch as many as you want out. Love sitting with the old man, drinking a few beers, catching turtles.

My farm I hunt in Guthrie County is way, way down for does and bucks. My farm I hunt by Eldora I have not seen a change; if anything slightly up? Were there areas effectived more than others with EHD?

I rattled in a shooter 10 this morning. He was coming straight in but turned and worked thru the doe bedding area not offering me a shot in the thick stuff. Really, really wanted to seal the deal this morning as it was my last hunt of the season. I was not sure if you were talking about late...

A friend of mine just had the same thing built in the same area. He hired the Amish and they did a great job.

I have heard a rumor about what happened, but I am sure that is all it was. So with that said, I am not one for spreading rumors.

My partner and I are thinking about taking our company on an ice fishing trip this winter. We normally do the xmas party, couple guys to a convention, etc. Thought this would be a little something different and combine everything together. We would be looking at taking apprx 30 - 40 guys on this...
