I used to think that I was good at judging deer and this year I shot a nice two year old thinking it was a three. Came in fast thought it was bigger took the shot then realized it was a younger deer! Really wished I would have studied the deer better! Oh well I never filled my tag last year so...

Last year we were hit pretty hard with snow and there was a lot of ground you could not walk. The snow was up past your waist and even a lot higher in more remote places. The bucks I am getting pictures of look mature but I think the stress of last winter is preventing them from growing bigger...
Pulled another card today and things are looking good. I few bucks that sparked my interest and once we get a good look at them on the hoof we should be able to pick out a few shooters.
I thought so too however if you look at the brows they are the same and the time stamps are very close together, I think it is the same deer, maybe not though won't know till it is on the ground. :)
