    Access

I just watched a video of a pretty well known habitat consultant seeding his access trails. Has anyone on here heard of that? I’m sure it’s rye grass and fescue. I’m in charge of 45 acres of turf grass at work. It’s extremely loud when you walk on it in winter/frozen times. I like the idea of...

Anyone ever use the stihl backpack fogger for spraying invasives? Just wondering about coverage and distance.

    Multiflora rose

I’m cutting trails in and around my multiflora rose. I’m finding very little bush honeysuckle. Basically enhancing existing trails with the intention of coming back in June and spraying my tail off from whatever I can reach from that trail. I have to use a weedeater with a saw blade because...

    Multiflora rose and bush honeysuckle

I wish. Area is seemingly always wet-ish. If I get buried, I’m in trouble. Walk behind brush cutter and time.

    Multiflora rose and bush honeysuckle

We logged about 3 years ago. I did not have the knowledge or know how of what to expect from invasives. My ground is loaded with a combination of multiflora rose, bush honey suckle, blackberry briars and young oaks. (I was enhancing deer trails yesterday and was pleasantly surprised by all the...

    Year round food.

I went with 20-40-40. What happens to brassica space the following spring? Are guys frost seeding clover in it? Or is it dead space for spring/summer?

    Year round food.

Dbletree also mentions adding Berseem and 60# of oats in spring. Then clipping oats in June. Was he putting oats in his clover side? I’m considering a 1/2-1/2 plot. Clovers and Brassicas. Any thoughts?
