Check out "Head's up decoys". they kill the crap out of turkeys with a fan/tom mounted on the bow.

I've had a frustrating season up to this point. I have been trying to get it done with the bow, but have had several toms hang up just outside of bowrange, or strut right outside the back of the blind. I have also missed 2 birds with the bow. I have been covered up with turkeys since opening day...

I have friends that are still hammering the perch at Spirit Lake. Caught a nice northern the other day too.

If you want a console, you are better off buying a boat that already has one. My 16 ft jon has a side console, but a tiller motor would work just as good, and the lighter the boat is, the less HP you need to push it.

He builds reflex/deflex longbows and recurves as well. I plan on having him build me a recurve in the future. I think his bows run between $500 and $700.
