I can tell you I cant wait to get drawn and get back up there in three years or so. Yall have a amazing resource kind of like our fishing down here in Louisiana.

My brother n law and myself hunted for the first time in Iowa this year on private land just southwest of Pulaski. We both saw plenty of deer each and every hunt that second week of November. I killed a 130" 10pt and he killed a 160" 12pt. I realize I can't compare our hunt to previous years...

The south Davis area where we hunting was truly a beautiful place and as I stated several times on the trip a "Deer Disneyland". The land owners of the farms we were on gave southern hospitality a new meaning. Those folks were great and went well beyond to make sure we were comfortable and taken...

It was cold/windy for us La. boys but we managed. Thanks for the comments

We got back to Louisiana from a fridged Iowa hunting trip last night and we had a couple nice bucks for first time bow kills. I shot a nice 130" 10pt 11/09 3:30pm using the can and rattle bag. He came in at 18yards and the 100gr Swacker did the job. The deer ran about 100 yards and I watched him...

LOL... OK man..:D Deer down here walk through the woods looking up for deer stands. As soon as the first HP rifle goes off the deer go nocturnal. Kinda sounds like a ISIS attack on opening day in La.
