I was at Sportsmans in Ankeny buying tags and the cashier said someone came in that morning and bought all of the doe tags for a county but I cant remember which one, I think the guy was from Boone. I hope he hit one with his car on the way home.

The only way you will know is if you see him again. Hunting a specific deer is a tough one can be very rewarding and very frustrating.

Set your goals at the start of the season. If the buck under the tree is at your expectations then nail em. What you can't get a shot on doesn't matter so just enjoy. If the buck under your tree doesnt fit your expectations then you have a free decoy.
