    Black Cherry

    i started planting black cherries in 2020 and have done about 25-50 per year and they are growing fast and seem to take our winters pretty well. Planted/tubed and havent done much since and thyre growing well. I always liked black cherries so as soon as we bought our place, we started planting them.

    I'll 2nd DOR on this one. I've planted them here in SE MN as well as Wisconsin farm and had mediocre results over 4-5 years after planting. We dont own either farm any more but I think of the 15 I planted in Houston County MN, maybe 4 made it and that was with a lot of care trying to save them...

    Back in bees?

    We have always wanted bees at our place but not really into doing the maintenence etc... I was contacted by a local honey company and they asked back in January if they coudl bring bee boxes out in the spring. Around May10th, they showed up from Texas on a semi.
