My dad has a Mossberg 20ga with a smooth barrel and it shoots great. I can shoot better with that gun than I can with one of my friends gun with a slug barrel. It's not like it throws slugs everywhere it shoots great patterns but just high. I guess I just don't understand how it's unethical?

That's what quite a few people have told me to do but I don't think it would make difference where I walk in because the deer or within 30 yards from by stand everyday.

Every time I get into my stand I bust 2 or 3 does, but I always end up seeing 15 + deer. Keep doing it or try something different?
