Grand River Area

This spring it was full of beaten down trails. Found some decent sheds, and I know the neighbor shot a 150+ inch last year. I am sure looking forward to sitting in a stand. It is 80 acres, but I will work on improving the habitat. It has some very nice features, however, it is a work in progress and it will be much better after I plant some food plots, trees and native grasses...Thanks for your response!

(I also saw quite a few turkey and a few pheasants and quail as well)
You are in a great area. Most of the farms have been managed for big bucks. I had a friend that sold his place just east and south of Grand River to buy some other ground, and now he is kicking himself for selling it. Another friend that owns ground that butts up to the lake west of Grand River. The Drury's had alot of ground in that area before they sold it, and I know Hunter Specialties had some ground also that was next to my buddies.
I hunted the Mt. Ayr area for 20+ years before loosing the ground to a lease. I have another farmer in the area, but with a family I just hunt closer to home now. Back in the mid 80's I had a chance to but some bottom ground in Grand River for 80 an acre, never thought junk ground woud sell for what it is now. You are in a great area, put in the plots and make it a place deer want to stay. Talk with the land owners around you, I an sure you all are on the same page.
