A buddy of mine got invited to doe hunt on some managed ground the other night. He was reluctant because he knows how picky the owner is about stuff, but went ahead anyhow. He really wanted another one for the freezer.
A shed 1.5 y/o came out into the field with a yearling and he accidentally whacked him. He counldn't see any bases and the yearling hanging close seemed to seal the deal. He cried on the phone, I laughed. The owner fortunately seen the humor, well at least he acted that way. We'll see if he ever get's invited back.:grin:
If your gonna get passionate about this, you better spend your time educating the deer hunters you know, instead of argueing here. Because I seriously doubt this late antlerless season is going away in most of the Southern counties.
