Using Decoys Late Season?
I was just curious how many guys have used a decoy late season?
Like during late muzzeloader or bowhunting late dec. till end of bow season?
I talked to the dnr officer for my county and he said that you can use a decoy even during firearms seasons but your on your own. I did take my decoy as a doe late season bowhunting one year, I couldn't believe sitting there with my buck tag filled and here coming in to check the decoy out was a 150 in. 8 pt. he was a dandy and let him walk. Only had a doe tag.
Our farm is pretty good size and were off the beaten path and far from roads so I'm not to worried about people blasting at it.
