SJR 2001, HJR 2001, LEAD SHOT RULE NULLIFICATION. Nullifies the NRC rule banning the use of lead shot during the mourning dove season. Passed the H, goes to the S.

this is a big problem folks!!! They slipped this one right under our noses, please contact your legislature and tell them that we DO NOT suppor the banning of lead shot. There is NO, ZERO, NILCH scientific evidence that lead shot negatively affects ANYTHING. It is simply the anti-dove hunting crowd trying to chip away at our new season.

The other problem is this is a foot in the door to completely ban lead, especially for fishing. This is a BAD idea and the ruling to ban lead shot for Doves is the first step.... Its a slippery slope and one we DON'T want!!!!!!
