Are you looking to get some lower cost surplus ammo?
I have been thinking the same thing except it would void my warranty of my gun. Can't shoot it or reloads.
I've read both good and bad on most of the surplus. Seems there may be batches of both with most that I looked at.
May also depend on your gun. I don't think I would want to shoot corrosive ammo through my gun for the most part.
I was just thinking of maybe stock piling some for zombies
but would have to test some to see if it worked good with my gun.
