I had instructions on a cattle farm I used to hunt to kill every dog I saw. I thought that was extreme, but the land owner shot everyone he could on his land. I shot one, a pit bull that growled at me when I when I yelled "Get out off here" at it. I'm a little cautious around pits. I later learned that dog had killed 2 calves.
