Hey everyone looking to see if anyone on here has a drone in SE Iowa or knows someone who may to overseed corn and beans this fall. I have a 10 acre plot looking to try this on to maximize my food acres.

Huge biz opp if guys will do this. My region has been very quiet for finding someone. Hope they keep growing & become more affordable. I know dudes with plots would be good $ to have em do cover crops.

I checked into getting some beans sprayed with a drone in southern Iowa this year, but it was too expensive. He wanted more than it was worth to me. I think if more guys do it then prices may drop for seeding and spraying.

You might try this company. They are out of st. Louis area. But they travel pretty far. Combining several jobs could make it worth the travel time.

I'd have to say I am prob pro drone. I don't have 1 btw. But I do think a guy could reasonably food plot, (not row crop) with a drone, and an atv with a cultipacker and pull behind mower....

Clover, fall plots, radishes, rye.... idk

Don't forget about the license you have to have if u are making a profit for it. If going to spend 15-20k...look at the camera application first and foremost. Then is it worth it depending on area one lives and type of airspace that is around you. Won't be good if you get a 15k drone and you can't fly it because you are too close to an airport.
