Well... if you read my post on my archery buck on my new farm then this is a continuation from that I guess ! I had asked about wagon blind and got some great help/ responses from you guys and we were working on the blind out in open cut soybean field on the new farm assembling it and my new neighbor stopped and introduced himself! He proceeded to fill us in on a big deer that he a grazed with his bow and gave us pics of him and said he thought he might be hanging on our farm ! So we finished up the blind and towed it into place over looking 2acres of standing soybeans on the 2nd day of gun 1 (sunday) at about 1230 pm we ran home quick and changed our wet sweaty clothes and ran back to blind about 2pm we were nervous about how the deer would react to the "new" wagon blind but as some of you had said no problems! Does came out about 330pm and some small bucks looking at it but they were about 100yrds so no concern other than some long stares ! At 440pm 3 nice bucks came in the plot and I looked at ethan and said let's open the windows and get the gun on him he's a good one!! Ethan hit him with a high shoulder shot and he never moved!! Wow ! Unreal how this a transpired!! 2 very happy guys. He's a typical 12 with 3 extras for 15pts and grosses 178! Beautiful buck!! Glad I listened to you guys who said put the blind out and hunt it! Worked great!!

Congrats!!!

Congrats on a great buck, have always wanted to make one of those blinds. My father in law has a grain wagon that i could use to make one, i think i will take him up on the offer.

Congratulations on that awesome 6x6! Did you see any marks on the deer from the neighbor's arrow? Have you spoke to the neighbor to see if this is the one he was talking about or by chance is there a different one he saw?
I know of situations where guys thought they took the big deer off the farm only to find out there was a bigger one than what they took...not saying anything wrong with what you got cause it's a dandy!
