Hey guys- wanted to say thank you for all the hard work over the years on defending our state & showing up!! Fight is far from over but we are growing in numbers & growing With folks who want to serve, help & leave God’s great outdoors a better place now & for the future generations. & we will.
Please say hi if u come to the classic. Be great to meet any I haven’t met in person (or remind me if I forget as I think any of us guys can be bad with remembering all names/faces). Want to thank u & say hello so please let me shake your hand. Appreciate you all more than you know & want to say thank you. I’ll be at ISC dinner on Friday night. Then the 2 seminars on Saturday & Sunday. Hope to see some of you there and if I don’t- THANK YOU, let’s keep growing & keep winning the battles.

Thank you for all you do in the good fight Skip! Our deer are lucky to have your passion fighting so intensely on their behalf.

Here's to an awesome weekend dedicated to the deer!

Thanks to all that showed!!! If u didn’t- it’ll be on WHTL podcast…. This was hard hitting. This wasn’t some fluff discussion where we danced around hard issues- we took them head on & hit em hard. For everyone else & for the future!!! Wasn’t about us- was about others, our resource & our future.

Rightfully so- I’ve heard for years - “why don’t the hunting “celebs” step up or say a word?!?!” & im right there with u guys!! Well- some are. Some aren’t…. Those that aren’t or those that are sell outs & only out for themselves while things get exploited - I hope folks quit watching them or keep asking them why they don’t speak up for the resource they made their living & livelihood off of. Well- lots of folks are stepping up. Lee was hard hitting NO BS on not ruining iowa- ROCK SOLID!!!! Saturday was packed outside the doors. There’s zero doubt folks are hungry for change. We are absolutely making a difference. Thanks to you all for making it happen & we for sure moved the ball forward this weekend. Thanks guys!!!!

Its too bad there weren't as many listening Sunday as there were Saturday.
Sunday was gloves off, didn't matter who was sitting in the room, you are getting the true facts! It's great Lee was beside you both days to prove there are some that want to protect what we have and that is thankful for what it has done for him and his family as well.
I couldn't hear the gentleman who was talking about some organization he was on but was offering free memberships to join so that there would be another group supporting everything you have been working against legislation to change.
I also think the Saturday session with Jace Elliot was informative as well. I hope the trial system they put in place for western Iowa has good results, it will get both positive and negative reviews as it moves along the first couple of years with the adjustments they are going to try.

Was there Saturday. Listened to Bill Winkes presentation. His session was standing room only as well. Wanted to hear Skip and Lee but had enough of the crowd. It’s almost too crowded, can’t stop and look at anything, people pushing constantly.

I was there both days.

I really wish the crowd that was there Saturday had been there Sunday. If you do this next year consider switching the topics around so that the bigger Saturday crowd is there for "state of whitetails today". IMO that is the more important topic and you will have a bigger crowd on Saturday as Saturday just draws more people in to the show, then the message can reach more people.

Sundays was great and it got a bit intense, could feel that passion and that is what his a needed.

Saturdays got a little off topic, especially with the dude asking questions to Lee about sheep hunting or other species. Wish Jake Hofer had hopped in to keep it on topic.

What trial system are we doing in Western Iowa?

This is all great feedback! This was uncharted territory for the podcast - definitely have some things in mind to improve it in the future! I didn't want to be rude to interject, but you're right.

Sunday is always slower. But…. Here’s the beauty of it…. Jake will post that on WHTL podcast so far more will be able to listen to that vs even a packed room. Seminars are great but the YouTube part will also be great back up to reach a lot more folks.

You may not be able to read it but white is any deer in all seasons with several counties getting significant reductions in extra antlerless allocation.
Yellow is any deer in all season except gun 1which would be buck only
Red is buck only all seasons...
I apologize if any of this is incorrect
