I can't even fathom where we would be with anything less than Trump. There are a handful that could follow Trump just fine but without opening eyes and showing how it's done, we would be in a world of hurt.

The problem with conservation, at that level, it doesn't mix well with your average outdoorsman. It's about like mixing Christianity and Sharia law. I'll catch Hell for saying that and there are people on here that will vote for liberals at the state level. That's partly the reason we are where we are. Once your mind settles into "climate change mode, it's hard to flip it back.
I wish there was a republican/conservative that was really strong on conservation..... conservation is a wreck right now. And CRP is a disaster.

Having conservation minded people at the table during Farm Bill conversations, VPA-HIP, etc. is not "climate change mode".
Some of you are so extreme about any criticism of Trump that it's pushing the very swing voters that won him 2024 back towards the left. Biden created more red voters during his term than ever before and Trump seems determined to swing that pendulum back. Toeing the party line is why our country is circling the drain.

Is there a Democrat that is ? In my state the Democrats gave a Minnesota state park to the natives (gone forever)? They tried to give away Red Lake (one of the top fishing lakes in MN) back to the tribes. It would off limits to all Americans & all Minnesotans ?
Luckily the Republican stopped the madness ! They (Democrats) have proposed gun legislation that would severely restrict what weapons you can use while hunting . I’m shocked any outdoorsman/avid hunter would ever vote Blue?

In Iowa it absolutely is the democrats who have a better stance on conservation.
Conservation and climate change are not interchangeable.
There's nothing wrong with being critical of certain stances your party has. Each person gets to decide what their highest priorities are and get to vote.
Regardless of your party, you should be disgusted about Epstein and how both parties have handled everything surrounding it.

I'm not going to let you drag me into pages of talking point volleys but what I will say is, it takes a strong leader to make decisions that is not understood by all. These decisions, if made by the left would be made all good by their teammates, the mainstream media. There are many examples of this all over the internet if anyone is willing to look. They are the only ones trying to swing the pendulum back. Trump 47 is not trash, he's the strongest leader and greatest president ever. Take your one shot back at me CC...that's all I'm giving you.
