Turkey tacos

Nothing as cool as chopping heads off, but I hooked into this 28 pounder Saturday morning. Got within 100 yards of the roost on the side of a creek bank. They were on the ground super early. I thought I had way more time to sneak in that I actually did. Just him and 4 or 5 hens. He was very vocal for having a group of hens and being the only gobbler. Should have enough tacos to last me until 4th season. The thighs photo is his next to an average size one from last year.
