I have set up on a terrace of a corn field or the middle of a pasture like Ghost with no cover for a couple of hundred yards and had them close enough to put an arrow in them. If you set up in the area they want to strut, you will have it made.

I have a Liberty that is 30 cubic feet and will hold 24 guns. It weighs about 800lbs and the cost was around $850. I bought it mainly for the kids safety, even though they were always locked up this is a little more insurance.
I have used it and the pattern was incredible. Don't worry about size of the shot, since the stuff is like welding slag and none of it is consistent in size. I had to cut one open to verify it and I was suprised that it shot as good as it did considering that some of the pellets are stuck...
