    New Shelter belt

I have 50+ Caragana & they are cold tolerant, fast grower. I don’t know if it has much wildlife value ? If you are looking for “strictly” cover, they usually survive … If you can get weed mat — it’s much less of a weed issue.

Is this in South Dakota? My only suggestion is to change out Caragana? I’d go Plum or Chokecherry… I guess it depends on your goals ?

Anyone paid attention to this in farm bill

Is there a Democrat that is ? In my state the Democrats gave a Minnesota state park to the natives (gone forever)? They tried to give away Red Lake (one of the top fishing lakes in MN) back to the tribes. It would off limits to all Americans & all Minnesotans ? Luckily the Republican stopped...

I follow the economy on most days…. Anyone paid attention to this in farm bill

I sure hope not !! … Trump has certainly had a mixed first year and 4 months. The Iran war is not popular with many Americans. However, it’s looking like a success, & after he took out Maduro and fixed Venezuela … I have to say , no President has the guts like him. That was one of the best...

    Missouri Survey on Non-Resident Hunting

You are right, there are a lot of young hunters in Minnesota that want change. Mostly bow guys. These kids (many are my son’s age) are avid archery enthusiasts. They grew up shooting carp and they are more into archery overall. These same guys love to hunt coyotes. I’m surprised how many of...
