    What's next for Republicans?

They gave the kid his shot. He missed. I can't come up with any other explanation. And Biden says we can't condone that kind of violence in America ... "condone"? Good grief what a moron! Just my observations from North of the border.

    FISHING ‘24! GO!

There's a saying "if you don't have time to go fishing, it's time to go fishing!" Well , I finally took that advice and hit a couple stocked trout lakes in Central Sask. Caught Brookies, Browns and Tigers. Can't wait to get into a few good Rainbows, and maybe Splake.

    Awesome Iowa sky

Just noticed that the date of my picture was the same night as your pic @Windlooker. Except mine was close to 9:30pm, ha.

    Awesome Iowa sky

Nice! They call Sask the land of living skies.

    Fawns dropping!

If deer are anything like cattle, ten days early is common. Multiple births are earliest, females before males, single male births have the longest gestation (on average).

    Storms?

With the multi tornado? Saw that one. Tore down those wind turbines like they were twigs.

    RAIN = BIGGER ANTLERS!!!

El Nino is gone and LA Nina is taking over. I'd be surprised if we have a dry summer/fall. If wet = big antlers, there should be some nice ones down there. Here in Sask we want dry for big deer. It's near impossible for our deer population to overbrowse because our deer density is way too low.

    Question about Fertilizer

Fertilizers are made as chemical compounds. If you are looking at the pounds of N (46) in urea, or carbamide, you will have the left over oxygen and carbon which makes up most if not all of the other 54. You can't buy straight N ( or P,K,S) without the rest of the formula's components.

Buck nubs starting - left some cams out…

Wow. I can see how the deer in Iowa grow big racks. Here the deer are skin and bones at this time of year.

    Snow Geese

Yep, 2s or 4s. Basically they're just a big duck.

    Snow Geese

Sure need a reduction in numbers. The Tundra will be completely barren if they have another successful nesting season. Maybe they'll have mass starvation, that would correct the population explosion that's been happening for the past fifteen years or so.

    Early Ice Browns

@Wildturkey 2 Baked with dill, parsley and lemmon pepper is a good method. Brook trout are the tastiest, rainbows can sometimes have an off taste. Fishing cold water is best. Bigger fish if you have to keep them are best candied and smoked.

    Early Ice Browns

Yes. I haven't caught anything big yet this winter. The lake I usually fish for walleye, whitefish and pike is about a half hour away. There is the odd 30 inch walleye in it and 40 inch pike is possible. The odd burbot in that lake too.
