    Unique bucks….

The weird ones just keep showing up. Beginning to think that a "typical" is the unique buck, lol.

@203ntyp ,You should put your cam on video. It's hilarious watching them suck.

Unifying Hunters on a wide front to fight the scum bags…..

Maybe Iowa needs to go to one deer per hunter. Wouldn't that create a whole lot more access, improve age structure. And for revenue, just increase tag cost. Sounds like the tag is the least expensive part of the whole hunting experience there.

What Herbicide is in Brush Bullet?

Oh Ya. Crops are starting to come off and I've been seeing the Canada's flying over in Vs already too. Waterfowl hunts are big business around here. Local guy runs Sask Goose Company, google if you want to see some pics/videos. But you can freelance it here too. No guide needed.

What Herbicide is in Brush Bullet?

Well I know one thing and that's overgrazed pastures have no profit nor future - - zero, zilch!!! There are quite a few tame seeded pastures with natural bluffs, but most in my area are wild with big treed areas with open meadows like in that video. Here's a picture of my area. About 50%...

What Herbicide is in Brush Bullet?

Wow! Must be different there. Here it's the cattle land where you go to hunt deer. Took this video four years ago. That buck is still living in that pasture today.

    Pretty Boy August 30th

IMO, he's got the shoulders of a deer older than 3.

    Unique bucks….

This one was pretty normal last yr. If he survives he might get interesting in the future.

    WHICH DO U SHOOT?

Where I hunt I wouldn't shoot either of those. I only see a 150s deer in the second pic and I'd be inclined to assume he still has some potential to get better in the coming years. I am only allowed one deer here so I'd be looking for something better than the top one. Looking for a target buck...

    Growth this year

In a wet year here wheat has a hard time hitting 13.5% protein. In a drought wheat will be high teens. Used to test our hay every year ... dry yrs had 15 to 25% more tdn (total digestible nutrients) and protein was close to double that of a wet year.

    Growth this year

Very early spring here similar to '21. There will be some good deer coming out of Saskatchewan again this yr, much better than '22 when it was quite wet. The key here is drought. The deer here never run out of food in the summer and the nutrition jumps unbelievably during drought. High protein...

    Opinion Friday night- score?

Ya, add 'em up. 4, 11, 9.5, 5, 25, 18 X2 = 145 Plus 19 inch spread = 164 Change the numbers however you like, he might squeeze out 170. Impressive deer but he's kinda young looking ... I'd be inclined to try to get him to make it another year or two.

    Random Thursday question/thought on genetics.

Here's a picture of the genetic diversity that can be present in a relatively small area. I got these bucks during the five yrs, 2014-2018 all within a three mile by one mile area.
