    No-Till/No-Herbicide: Is it possible?

Thanks for all of this! It sounds like herbicide might be necessary here. Just thought I’d hear everyone opinion since herbicide or tilling hasn’t directly been applied to this soil in decades and the organic matter was almost 7% in some areas compared to 2-3% in our pasture a couple hundred...

    No-Till/No-Herbicide: Is it possible?

Yeah, I’ve watched a lot of those videos! I’ve just been wondering how to actually get started without the initial use of herbicide or tilling. Especially in some of the areas the fire didn’t get. Do you think rye would be better than something like oats or buckwheat this time of year?

    Thoughts on my new farm?

I was wondering what that stuff was! Here is a closer up pic of it, but it's a little blurry. What do ya'll think? I was hesitant to kill off these areas cause they look awesome, but if it's sericea then it has to go!

    Thoughts on my new farm?

Hello everyone, Just bought 91 acres in MO (kick me out if not allowed haha). Just wanted to get some thoughts on creating a plan on it! Heres a drone video: https://streamable.com/cl72qo Here's whats the "open" areas that are in red look like (I can't decide if I want to clear them out for...
