There are groups using this as a second shotgun season utilizing deer drives. Just stating that as a fact. You can draw your own conclusions.

Night vision is banned during deer season for a reason. The INTENT of the law should be to carry over to thermals. IMO, you can only hunt with a thermal at the moment because of what I would call a loophole. I don't like loopholes.

Never really understood shooting an iffy buck late in the season IF your goal is to harvest mature/trophy. Personally im of the mindset of they've ALMOST made it so they gonna have to be special or management variety
