Paige says thanks everyone! She is so pumped to grill a steak next week from her first deer. Taking her Saturday AM and all day Sunday to try and fill that buck tag.
This was an extreme long shot that I would ever have a need to even write this- but my wife (Paige) connected on a mature doe last night on a spot and stalk and was shaking like a leaf. she was super pumped, excited and sad all at the same time. But this once valley girl who hated the idea...
last couple years it seems to be younger bucks move in early and tear it up- and then about a week before Halloween the dominate buck in the area starts hitting them all like clockwork. I use dominate buck- and then first week of November I will put some doe near by when I have a decoy out-
Not sure I will post on this log as I have as much in the past years- but here is an update of my trips so far
had a great trip out west with TH in wyoming- although we didnt hunt together- we were a few miles apart and helped pack out his elk and had a close encounter with a giant of my own ...
I am certainly on the same boat with many others when I say a majority of what I learned bow hunting was through this site over the years. Best of luck with your future path and priorities Chris!
Hardest thing I have ever done in my life physically was pack part of that elk out. Took many many hours but we got it done. Nice work again mr tennis shoes bieber
I took a youth out last night. Saw plenty of deer- none we wanted to take (tiger woods). Been getting a lot sent in to the social media page I'm apart of and sharing their harvests - plenty of deer hitting the ground Good luck to all those going out this week and coming weekend!!
I imagine once it sells I would lose access to it. Which happens. Hope for the land owners it sells - they are expecting their first grandchild in Florida and need to sell in order to move. Until then- I'll hunt there. Taking a youth there this Sunday going after Tiger woods

I have access to 8 properties, all private. Range from 250 acres down to 35 have hunted most of them since I was pretty young, a couple I just recently gained access too. many many many hours over the years of learning farm chores :)
