    Switchgrass - To Mow Again??

I would not mow right now. Switch is a warm season plant. You don't want to set it back during its peak growth season. What's already established will be fine. I'd spray next spring, around April to May of next year.

    Daylight Savings

Yep, I follow. My comment was in terms of his response on multiple day hunts. If sunset is 7 PM, sunrise is 7 AM - Have 12 HR gap. If sunset is 6 PM, sunrise is 6 AM - Have a 12 HR gap. Nature doesn't care or know about the numbers we assign to it.. :)

    Brassicas

Depends on your N needs.. 100# per acre of AMS would give you 21# of actual N and 24# of S per acre. I'd shoot for around 50# of N per acre if pure brassica planting. You can go up to about 100# if you want basketballs.. The sulfur is great for brassicas as well. AMS is among the most...

Fertilizer Grade AMS is a great source of N and S both. Used before with great results. 21-0-0-24S

    Daylight Savings

Not a fan of Daylight Savings at all, especially for the early risers - better matches arcadian rhythms. Daylight at 9 PM pushes me to stay up later. I was hoping they would make Standard Time permanent. But at the end of the day, the clock is just a number so quit changing it every 6 months...

    Cows and trail cams

I'd find out when the cows are removed. I'd be there the day after hanging cameras.

    Switchgrass - To Mow Again??

Have any photos further back? So we can see a larger area of the stand? FWIW, I typically mow in late March / Early April after the first year. This is purposely to be right after cool season, beginning of warm season. You may be further into April depending on how far north. When I...

    Leaf blowing access trails

Yes, I do. I actually do mine in March after the season, after all the leaves drop. Then I'm good until about late October. After that, stuck waiting for a rain. Or go in mid-day.

Mineral mix for tick control on wildlife?

Skip - I'm curious what in this keeps the ticks away? Or just a more healthy animal in general?
