I have a 606NT that's in great shape. I would like to learn more about your 706 for a possible trade/cash. What year is it? Stored indoors? I'm right near Lamoni.
I think the fogging is very common on every brand camera in open areas. Dew or frost gets on the lense almost every morning. For those that hunt out of redneck or similar blinds, the windows fog or frost over almost every morning....Same with cameras.
I agree with all! Skip, can we not get a bill out there that bans all in season feed/bait? This is a HUGE problem in a lot of areas. I know guys like to supplemental feed, but doing it outside of hunting season will still be available. The only people against this bill would be the actual baiters.
Ultimately, I'd love to see a 2 buck max for every Iowa resident. That would include party hunting and even the horribly run state of Illinois has a 2 buck max. Really a 1 buck limit with an extra tag for landowners would be ideal (of course hunters that don't own land would say that is not...
Thanks for the info..Buck hollow doesn't sell Matthew's and that is a bow i was interested in shooting..Liability wise i wasn't concerned with, it is more setting it up right and not taking shortcuts. .Cam timing, drop away rest timed correct, d-loop dead center, etc... ..I'll probably give them...
Has anyone purchased a new bow at Scheels Des Moines recently and had them set it up? How did they do and are you happy at the detail they used in setting it up correctly? I'm getting a new bow and trying to decide whether to buy from Scheels or not.
Were your enlist beans treated? I planted untreated enlist beans last spring and the deer hammered them too much. It really limited my yield and the beans that did pod out, got hammered this fall.
Last year they threw a couple things in late like the cell cam ban on public. I wonder if they will try that this year with something big like legalizing crossbows during archery?
In my opinion killing mature bucks isn't hard enough and manipulating deer movement makes it that much easier..Technology, manipulating deer movement, etc are some of the reasons why old, giants are very rare today.
I think a well spoken female hunter would help a lot at the capital. Some of the lawmakers would listen close to a well spoken female who knows her stuff.
