No you're good. One of the best ways to establish clover is to mix it into your fall seed mix.

As Skip said, need to add 24-D or something like it along with your gly to kill the resistant stuff. Including ANS and surfactant in your tank will help your cocktail work better too. Very common misconception that gly just kills everything. Maybe in some parts of the country, but at some...

Rye will do better in this application and keep the weeds down a little better as well. Cheaper too! Oats will work but freeze out mostly depending on your area. Not sure what your long term plan is though...
