I was able to go out west and wrap my tag around my first ever antelope. Was a great trip all around! He wasnt with on this trip but but thanks to Josh (TH) as I wouldnt have been anywhere around these speed goats if it wasnt for his help on the area.
I spotted this buck with about 15 does...
I went and checked my camera over my test - not sure how to upload a trail camera video on here. But small bucks have been rubbing the post every day and lots of deer liking the rope.

Tried something new just as a fun experiment - Got a post hole digger- took an untreated cedar 4X4 - bolted on a 2X4 section to the top and put it in my food plot. Tied and screwed some uncoated hemp rope to each end and created a mock scrape under the rope. Put buck pee on the rope- ground...
I bet the record falls in the next couple years- practices are widely used that just werent as common over the last decade. Or at least in my opinion....... and with zero credible reasoning behind this- im going to guess the new WR buck to fall will come from.....Indiana;)
went and checked one of my no till plots today- turned out great. Just sprayed, burned and broadcast before a rain. Didnt pack or anything after seeding.

went out west to chase some antelope in the open country with some TBI buddies and TH. Was a fun trip- didnt get an antelope but it wasnt for lack of trying. Also knocked down plenty of prairie dogs.
Had a couple good encounters that I prob should have tagged out- the one shot I did take was...
I set out Antler King mineral early on and a trophy rock in a few spots. Not sure if any correlation to ticks or not. I know I have a few pics of does covered in ticks at a different property- but Ill keep tabs on that now.
The new cameras I just hung are the new 4K's and a few of the above photos came from a 4K. others are from G series or lower models. But the DS4K's hands down take the best pics of any cameras I have owned. Video mode is solid as well.
