My numbers are up 30-40% in SE Iowa, but that may have more to do with some habitat improvement the last couple years. I have talked to a friend on the opposite side of the county that has found six or more EHD kills this fall.
It should not matter. the xbow is probably shooting higher fps so any lack of tuning or non straight broadhead will exagerate the error. I've never had an Xbox so have no idea how to tune one.
I bought the G3 from Meyer above. I haven't planted with it yet but my JD 3038 lifts and hauls it fine with some weight in the bucket. I would expect your 39hp would be fine also.

For some context, my farm is 120 acres of mostly timber. 60 acres river bottom and 60 "high" ground with a big ravine through it. So, almost all cover with 2 food plots (4 acres total) and no ag land near by. I thought I had all the cover I needed.
