got the new issue of NAW and saw the article on the 412 buck.
back in 99 I shot a deer in saskatchewan that was over 400lbs live weight.
back at the shop it dressed 329lbs and almost buried the scale.

Re: Plateau/Journey herbicide for NWSG
dbltree,
what difference do you see with your crp?
between the mowed and the unmowed?
my mowed seems to come back better.
bc,
thats a good idea now..burn everything and then wait for fall.I will be doing the same with the other 25 acres I have of tillable.
I know what you mean about having to wait for help.I bought my farm and had zero equipment.first thing I did was rent a bobcat and got it stuck! I knew nothing...
buckcrack,
I drilled in RR corn the about a week ago and it is starting to come up already.I then went in behind it and drilled in RR FORAGE SOYBEANS.That way i know one will work. This is for a food plot not to harvest.I think that your deer corn will grow stalks as I have tried it myself.I did...
Re: Alfalfa - new seeding
man,
I would love some of that forage alfalfa! I could plant 20 acres of it and have someone cut and bail it for me.
where do you get the forage variety?
hi midwest,
Yes I know mali and we are good friends. He got the planter tweaked for me and then I could not wait to use it.I cant wait to see how the forage soybeans do.
saskguy,
I will be right there! problem is if I come up I dont think I will want to leave!
I have not been to saskatchewan...
I have planted them before.
took 3 years to make apples grow.I hit them pretty heavy with 10 10 10 and that seemed to make them jump.
getting ready to transplant 3 to a deerier spot.
planted 3 acres of roundup ready corn and beans today.
put dow 400lbs per acre of 19 19 19 and then drilled in the seed. The beans were forage soybeans that are supposed to be graze resistant? I guess I will find out.

jmm,
I bet that old dude is hiding in the smallest patch of nothing he can find?
I think as they get older their core area shrinks to almost nothing?
whatever he is doing he is doing it right.
you might have to set up in the middle of a road to get that one.
jmm, I hunted up your way about 10...
for me I like to be entertained. Many reasons why I like what I do but here you go.

risto,
I put all the cameras out in the woods one right next to another.
the moultrie has almost an instant trigger.
I have the 1.3 cudde and it works great but the moultrie is just a hair faster.
none of them are slow or anything just one is a little faster then the next.
doug
I have the original cuddeback and a new moultrie I40.
the moultrie has a faster trigger speed hands down.
I have compared these as I have one of each.
moultrie I40
original cudde
