Don Higgins' newest book has a great chapter written by Roger that talks about his Iowa property. Along with stories from several other hunters.

I've never heard that problem with the Coverts. What model did you have? Did you adjust the sensor sensitivity? I usually will put them on a 3 shot burst and get at least 2 good photos. I did have those issues with the Moultrie I40 and I60s.
Keep an eye on Wing Supply for them. They had the MP6 last week at $99 and the MP6 Black at$119.99. Currently sold out now though.

I think the MP6 is quieter and quicker than the Moultrie M80. I...
It happened here in New Hampshire and we have a statute that protects land owners who leave their land open to hunting. It was eventually dropped but, cost the land owner a lot of money in legal fees. In this case somebody was paralyzed when they climbed into somebody elses treestand and it...

If you're hunting clear cuts then I'd recommend getting a bear tag as well. There are going to be tons of blackberries this year and the bear will be in the cuts. The only problem with bear is they require you to take the bear to a GW so it could screw up a day of hunting.
Here's the GW assignment map. I believe your zone is 19 but, confirm that with them. There's a number for them on the page.

What I'd recommend is getting on google earth and looking for fresh clear cuts. You want something less than 8 years old. You might be able to contact the White Mountain National rangers and they will point you in the right direction. Keep in mind though they do not allow motorized vehicles or...
Good luck I've been putting in for the NH moose lottery since they started it. Never been drawn. I believe the c2 zone is very mountainous and remote.? Do you have a guide lined up? You will see more moose than deer.
