I think lockers only get $55 to do a HUSH deer unless they raised it from last year. In my opinion the Hush program has been the worst thing for our deer heard. Makes it way to easy and convenient to pull that trigger knowing all you have to do is go drop it off and it doesn't cost you anything...
I am self employed so I am hoping for the 4th through the 13th but we will see if I get a few more jobs buttoned up an what the weather looks like. I can remember years past when it would get cold like this in October then warm up during November always thought a guy should hunt a little harder...
I am wondering why you would shoot any. If I were only seeing 4 deer a sit the last thing I would do would be to take any of them out. Not trying to be a smartass or tell you what to do with your tags but shooting two does possibly takes out four young deer this spring.

Corn almost $8 this summer I'm not feeling to sorry for them. Prices go down every year at harvest time. Nobody feels sorry for me when I go to the grocery store or the gas pumps

I am going out on a limb here and say that most farms are not 100% timbered with part of the ground being ag ,crp, etc so you would be paying taxes on part of it. That is the way my place is anyway and as the person mentioned above about clearing ground to get that extra acre in you probably...
