I have used vexilar, hummingbird and Marcum over the last 15 years. I own a Marcum LX7 and a Marcum LX6 and wouldn't buy anything else. Hands down the best unit in the Ice industry.

Im heading down to fish 3 mile in a couple weeks. Does anyone have any info on a place to stay down there? I tried the cabins on the lake but they were booked. Does anyone rent cabins or houses for weekend stays? I would like to be able to clean fish where I stay if possible. Thanks

Hang the trails leading in and out from the den with snares. Stay back a couple hundred yards and you will get all of them. Dirtholes are better but they take time especially with frost and rain etc keeping that set functioning.

I've shot gold tip xt and expedition hunters 7595 with rage heads for a while now. Never had a problem with penetration or finding deer very close to the stand after the shot.
