Pretty F'd up that those who sit on their ass all day can live a better life then most who bust their butt all day.
I jumped a tax bracket this year and went from getting 3500$ back to 700$ back. I depend on that money! Where is the incentive to improve income for ones selve?
For the past 5 years now my dad, brother, and I have been traveling south 2nd season to hunt this particular farm. None of us have come up empty handed on the 3 day weekend since. [/IMG]

This year I decided to let the normal fight go for awhile then things got x-rated...
One thing I'd try if I was you is move your blind closer to the woods so turkeys can't skyline it. In the past I never had much luck with hilltop or out in the wide open sets birds would stay out of range(I know they happen though and have pulled off a few that way myself). Pressure is a weird...
It's amazing the patience my girls have when it comes down to crunch time. Ol dad gets worked up like a top knowing that so many things can go wrong trying to help a youth score a turkey. Pure emotion when the gun goes bang and turkey laying on the ground. I sound like a idiot in the videos.

First time hunting anything my 10yo daughter gets a longbeard 2 hrs into the hunt. Quite the show, we had two toms come in to the decoys to 15 yds struttting and gobbleing. Watching my daughter kill her first turkey trumps every hunting experience I've ever had. One great memory for her and I.
Here is what walked up to me for 2nd season. I've gone first season shotgun my whole life but this year my dad got out of it so I ended up making the track down to southern Iowa solo opening weekend 2nd season. I'm pretty tickled as I've been on a big buck dry spell for a long time. I have him...
