I would agree. Running almost 40K on my first set and I've never had a flat. They have taken alot of abuse and have never gotten stuck either. Great traction, smooth highway ride, and not alot of noise. I'll buy another set after these are worn our for sure.
Hey Guys
I was curious if anyone had any suggestions or know of something that works for something I'm trying to do. No clue if its even possible or not. But I have some river bottom area, about 15 acres, and I know the deer love to bed in it. It has some hardwoods and some crap trees. Its...
I tried the UA 4.0 this year and I swear by it. I've never found anything better. I can wear the 4.0 tops and bottoms with my uninsualted pants and a fleece on 32 degree mornings and be fine. When its super cold, I just add the cabelas mt050's as mentioned above by liv4rut. They will hands...
Well my gut feeling was right. Definitely wasn't lethal. Kicked him up this morning and saw the arrow sticking out of his shoulder. He looked very lively but I'm sure sore. Hardly any blood at all. He will live no doubt. Terrible feeling losing one like that. Good luck guys.
I did look for blood when I got down where I shot him but didn't want to chance kicking him up if he was laying down and not dead yet. I've pushed them before when I was unsure and regretted it more than anything. Took me 2 days to find that one. This time I'm trying to learn from experience...
OK, so tonight was the night I finally got out after a week and the place was on fire. Had a few bucks through when a shooter finally showed face a half hour before sundown. It happened so fast but literally just had enough time to get drawn before I had to grunt and let it rip. He stood 24...
From what I hear it sort of depends on your area. I've talked to lots of guys over the weekend that saw no deer or one deer. I myself had 12 does under my stand eating in a food plot saturday and sunday and did not have one buck come to even check any of them which I found odd. That was in...

When you state this about the cereal grain combo "Plant in late August to early September, if following well fertilized brassicas use 100 - 200#'s of urea, if starting a new plot add 400#'s of 6-28-28" can you please clarify something for me. If I am starting a new plot (next year) do...
I do exactly the same, 150 grains of Triple 7 and a 245 grain Powerbelt Aerotip. You can't go wrong with this setup. But its like anything in this industry, people's opinions will vary. I've yet to be disapointed with this choice and know plenty of others with positive recommendations on what...
Hey Guys
I was wondering if anyone has had any luck planting a bunch of saplings. Basically I am wanting to plant 2 acres worth of trees to connect a draw to a timber and create some cover to an open bean field. I saw that I can order a bunch of saplings from the DNR for a decent price...
Dbltree-
Thanks so much for all you do to help myself and everyone. You are very helpful!
I have a question related to this statement: Plant in late August to early September, if following well fertilized brassicas use 100 - 200#'s of urea, if starting a new plot add 400#'s of 6-28-28
You...

Hi Guys
I'm a new member to the site but have been following posts for awhile. I recently bought a piece of ground in Southern IA and have been really getting into deer management. I have bowhunted for almost 15 years but have never had the opportunity to plant food plots and work on...
