thanks for the post, i ended up using some fertilizer that was about the same size as the turnip seed, mixed it 50/50.... Using a hand seeder its hard to seed those Brassica light enough, even the smallest setting on the hand seeder kicks it out too fast, Mixing it with the fertilizer works...

think it might be the same buck, at that angle in the second picture the split brow is not visible because there lined up... Not for sure, but the short brows and the way the beam turns at the end and the size of the g4s lead me to believe its the same buck.. eitherway, Hes a STUD!

Yea, the 25lb salt block is overkill no doubt, but the deer really seem to draw into that big white salt block! then they still eat around the block and get the minnerals.. I have tested minneral licks with blocks and without, and for some reason the sites with the blocks always outperform...

Farmer once told me that after clover flowers most of the nutritional value is gone! not sure what %.. either way you field looks killer 4 sure! we mow our field once it flowers, i think your good with the rain latley
