Great story. Having a dad who turned 69 this past April 9th, this only makes me a little more appreciative of each turkey season we get to share...because none of us is promised tomorrow! I've already had some success with archery gear in both Kansas and Nebraska, so my goal now is to watch...

DOR, I use a real fan. It's a couple of years old. I cut it in half vertically. Most fans have about 18 feathers, so I just went over about 9 (just in the center) and cut the dried meat area at the bottom. I fold it in half and transport it in a plastic bag inside a turkey vest in the back...
