    Big Cese Drops the Hamma

Great story. Having a dad who turned 69 this past April 9th, this only makes me a little more appreciative of each turkey season we get to share...because none of us is promised tomorrow! I've already had some success with archery gear in both Kansas and Nebraska, so my goal now is to watch...

    Hey Flatlander...

I sent you a reply to your PM reference the turkey contest. Got some error message on this end so not sure if it went. If you got it, disregard. If not, let me know via this thread and I'll try again! MO

    Trying to Understand

The God Said, "Let us make man in our (the Trinity-Father, Son, Holy Ghost)image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea, and the birds of the air, over all livestock, and over all the creatures that move along the ground." Genesis 1:26 We are to be good stewards of all...

    Transporting Fans?

DOR, I use a real fan. It's a couple of years old. I cut it in half vertically. Most fans have about 18 feathers, so I just went over about 9 (just in the center) and cut the dried meat area at the bottom. I fold it in half and transport it in a plastic bag inside a turkey vest in the back...

    Big Thanks To Rudd!

You're making some fine memories for that young lady. Who knows, maybe one day her prom date will walk in your living room and you can show him some some P&Y bucks she's taken! Great job! My daughters (ages 8 and 10 sure perked up when looking over my shoulder at this post!) MO

    Got my 2006 mount back!

    Crazy Old Lady

Oh, one more item of note... Platte County is one county south of me, and includes the northwest portion of the city of Kansas City. (KCI Int'l Airport is in Platte County.) A lot of "city folks" have transplanted themselves to rural Platte County, wanting to get out of the city. The...

    Crazy Old Lady

Here's a little insight on this case which I have on pretty good authority...This is all a matter of public record since it happened in court so here's what I was informed: This lady fired 8 to 10 rounds with a 9mm. She apparently doesn't like deer hunting, and her neighbors killed a doe...

    Lone Wolf Ad

Are you referring to the "give thanks" ad? It is "eye catching". Oh, and that ear thing, my thoughts exactly. Looks like a mounted head in the grass. Still an awesome and simple ad. MO

    Very unusual turkey pic...

Folks I have about 25-ish years of turkey hunting under my belt and have only seen this happen twice. I was able to photograph a hen in full strut. I was doing some aggressive calling (mainly yelps and some loud cutting) and this old girl came in and was ready to b*tch-slap the hen she heard...

    MO-Antlertips 2007 Kansas archery harvest

Here's a bird I killed in early April in Doniphan County, Kansas. Please forgive the incorrect date in the lower right hand corner of the pic as I had changed batteries in the digital camera but forgot to change the date! (I have no idea what I would do without my better half...she's the...
