Found a dead buck two days ago in Andrew County (MO) just north of Interstate 29 that had been struck by a car. He already had grown out approximately 3-4 inches above his ears.
Nice mass, too, even though they all look heavy to me in velvet.
It was obvious where the split was starting to...
Ouch! Ya had to mention Quin. (Why couldn't we get Brandon Rush?) I went to the MU-KU game @ Columbia this year. The tiggers always (used to) really rise to the occassion for that one...this year, not so much.
Yes, Anderson does seem to be a class act. Oh well, there's always next year, or...
I gotta have one too! I see my 9 year old daughter Jordan made it with her first deer! I will drive to Iowa to pick one up if I have to! What a surprise that will make for her! Can't wait!

Gotta pitch in on this one...
First, thanks a bunch for sharing the pics/family stories with fellow IW's.
Second, I want to extend my congratulations to you and your family. What a great bunch to be very pround of!

Well, I'm from Missouri so I'm not gonna weigh in on the U of I/ ISU thing, but I gotta tip my camo cap on the harvest, and the photos. That three generation photo is AWESOME!
Looks like a great family tradition passed on to a fine young hunter. Great job guys!

Not only have I bought, I've sold stuff there, too! My first Mathews bow was last seen headed towards the state of Virginia on a UPS truck!
One slight word of caution, check out feedback from previous buyers. As of late, I've been checking out some decoys on ebay and will likely buy again.

I'm with threebeards on the do-it-yourself stuff. I'm not really down on outfitters, but the average blue-collar working hunter doesn't really have the money to hunt the way as portrayed in the videos.
The "pros" always show up on someone's doorstep, look at the trail cam photos that the...
They are worth every penny! The way I bought mine is that a good hunting buddy and I split the cost! 50-50! We have had it for three years so far.
We haven't had any real conflicts thus far and we have both had our kids kill deer and turkeys from them.
I've looked at some other less...
That's a pretty buck, good job! Looks like you were hunting on one of my "favorite weather hunting days". There's something about the grey, overcast, drizzling days that make you want to be out!
Looks to be a P&Y, did you get him scored?
MO
Great idea, even if they had to put a "cap" on it. Otherwise, you'd have people killing (or claiming to have killed) LOTS of does...next thing you know, they're wanting Farm Bureau to send them a refund check!
