I think the DNR should do a Deer Hunter Survey. Log in with your info like you do for the online reporting and fill out a survey as to what you think the seasons should or should not be. Be interesting to see the data statewide.

maybe they could ban food plots on private land that borders public land. Seems like owners of private land next to large tracts of public land can really monopolize the deer herd with food plots on their land.

I shot a bambi doe on Saturday. It was the only deer that came out of the woods so I scoped it for a long time to make sure it wasn't a buck. It was too small to be a shed buck, but I was worried it was a button buck. Nope, just a dumb doe.
